

Taabea Company Limited has donated educational materials to the Dedesua DA Basic School to boost teaching and learning. The School, which is located in the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti regions lacks several teaching and learning materials making it difficult. Leading a team of staff to present the educational materials was the wife of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mrs. Clara Akua Agyemang.
The educational materials included a brand new projector, tables for Information and Communication Technology (ICT), exercise books, boxes of pen, and bags branded with Taabea products worth GHC 10, 0000. The presentation was in fulfillment of the company’s corporate social responsibility to make teaching and learning easier. Speaking to frontline, the CEO of Taabea Company Limited. Mr. Christian Agyemeng noted the donation forms part of a pledge made to the school some time ago by his wife. According to him, government cannot provide for educational institutions hence the need for other corporate firms to also contribute their quota to the promotion of quality education.
He revealed the company intends to replicate this in other deprived schools to enhance the teaching and learning. Mr. Christian Agyemang said the youth and most especially those dwelling in the rural communities are the future leaders who therefore the need to for society to play their roles to enable them be educated well to take up leadership roles in future.
Taabea Company Limited are the produces of Taabea Herbal Mixture and capsules for the treatment of malaria and other ailments. The company is well known for its contribution to the development of the less privilege in society. Headmistress of the school Cynthia Kwanin was grateful to the company for their donation and called on other corporate institutions to emulate same. Meanwhile she mentioned lack of inadequate classroom blocks and library as some of the pressing needs of the school nothing that teaching would improve steadily if these needs are met.
